Literature Text

Today I sat down at my dinosaur of a computer and stared at the story I have been trying to write for a few days. I stared at the magical portal until my head hurt. I rubbed my tired eyes and leaned back in my black spiny chair. "What can I possibly write?" I asked out loud. "What possible emotions can I use for this?" And that's when it came to me.
No, it was not a way to continue my story, or even a fantastic way for me to finish a novel I started in the eighth grade. No, I thought of the way writers tend to take advantage of their emotions. How they mold them into their stories or novels or poems.
     For example,

You're heart broken.

You write a poem about how much you hurt, want to die, hate stuff, etc.

You're in love.
You write something sappy.

You win the lottery.

You write an amazingly happy piece of literature.

You feel average.

You go smash your hand so you'll have something to write about.

So, the lesson learned is that emotions are fantastic tools. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go bang my head into my wall until I get an idea or become unconscious. Whichever comes first.
I have NO IDEA where to put this (because it's Fiction and Non-Fiction), or even if it should be considered 'literature', but I am proud of it so that's all that matters.
